Buffalo Trace distillery has been making bourbon whiskey for more than 200 years. Made from the finest corn, rye and barley malt, this whiskey ages in new oak barrels for years in century old warehouses until the peak of maturity. Rich and complex with hints of vanilla, toffee and candied fruit, the smooth finish of this whiskey lingers on the palate.
With help from Master Distiller, Dave Pickerell, WhistlePig’s Founder and Chief Steward of the Brand, Raji Peter Bhakta committed himself to crafting the best farm-to-bottle rye. Together they discovered and purchased a stock of blending whiskey in Canada, forming the beginning of the uniquely robust, spicy and dark-rich flavour of WhistlePig’s Rye Whiskeys.
Since 1865, the Grants of Glenfarclas has remained the owners of the distillery - one of the few remaining family owned and managed distilleries in Scotland. Now in the hands of the fifth and sixth generation of the family, the Grants continue to create their exclusive HIghland Single malt Scotch Whisky in the traditional Speyside style.
Bain’s Single Grain Whisky is the first of its kind in South Africa, paying tribute to Andrew Geddes Bain who built the Bainskloof Pass that connects the town of Wellington, where the distillery is located, to the rest of the country in 1853. The distinct palate of spice, softened by the sweet undertones of oak and a smooth finish is attributed to Master Distiller, Andy Watts.
Founded in 1948 by Shri J.N. Radhakrishna, Amrut Distilleries is one of the proud pioneers of the industry in India. Amrut Single Malt Whisky is made from the best quality of Indian barley grown at the feet the Himalayas, nurtured and cultivated by old and traditional agricultural practices. Mashed and distilled in small batches to preserve the natural aroma, Amrut Single Malt Whisky is then matured in oak barrels in a unique tropical climate - at an altitude of 3,000 feet above sea level.
Hellyers Road is Australia’s biggest selling locally crafted whisky. Hellyers Road’s Peated Single Malt Whisky has been recognised as the nation’s best at the Malt Whisky Society of Australia for Awards for Excellence in 2010. Aged in American Oak (ex-bourbon) and distilled using peated grain sourced for Inverness, Scotland, a hint of citrus sweetness with overtones of malt compliments the lingering aftertaste of fresh forest, smoke and pepper.
