W&W was originally held annually to support the high demand for premium watches in Hong Kong and China since 2013. Unfortunately, this order was short-lived in the wake of the anti-corruption campaign in China, which inevitably resulted to W&W seeing their final days in 2016.
To our pleasant surprise, Watches & Wonders (W&W) makes a return this year and is set to make its U.S. debut in the heart of Miami Design District from 16 - 19 February 2018, in a collaborative effort between The Miami Design District Associates and Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie!
Despite the change of location and exhibitors, W&W retains its initial energy and affair -- aniticipating the new gorgeous timepieces by the most prestegious watch and jewelry brands that will be on display in Miami this February; including both independent watchmakers like F.P. Journe and Romain Gauthier, as well as established brands such as Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Hublot, Ralph Lauren and TAG Heuer. Attendees will also be one of the first to discover the new models recently revealed at the SIHH luxury watch fair in Geneva.
On top of that, expect cocktails, seminars and an exhibition that comprises a handful of creative films, art installations as well as performance works by international contemporary artists to accompany the showcase.
Not forgetting to mention, the event also coincides with Miami Design District Concours, presenting on site hundreds of rare exotic sports cars and vintage classic automobiles to keep everyone buzzing through the week! So expect the place to be filled with not only watches, art but also car lovers and all the exciting going-ons covered by HODINKEE, one of the industry's best media resource for watch enthusiasts.
With plenty to splurge on and so much to see, the fair promises an inclusive and dynamic come back for visitors from all ages and walks of life! Don't miss it!
